It is hard to believe our trip to Romania is already here. Tomorrow we will fly out for a 14 day trip to Bucharest, Romania to partner with Heart to Heart International. H2H has been in Romania for 16 years loving on a huge population of abandoned orphans. We will be joining their cause by bringing our love for Jesus to these abandoned lives. During our time in Romania we will be doing 3 specific things. 1) Be a blessing to absolutely anyone and everyone we meet, bringing Christ's message of healing to Romania 2) Daily we will spend time in a baby hospital caring for babies 0-3 years old. 3)We will also be putting on an 8 day VBS program for orphans 4-18 years old. Most of these children have never experinced the love of a family, it is our hope that for the short time we are with them they can experince this love.
I am simply amazed at the the work God has done to have our team travel to Romania. To raise $34,000 during a recession is a hard feat, but God proved in so many ways that his calling does not have human boundaries. Our teams faith was constantly stretched to trust God to provide. I can not wait to share with you our church family the things God does through our students lives when we return.
Please be checking back to this blog to hear all that God is doing. We will post pictures, videos, and testimonies as much as possible. It truly is our heart to make our experience your experience as well. We could not have come to this point of answering God's call to go to Romania if it was not for you the Body of Christ praying and supporting us. You have showed our students what God's family is all about .
Thank You, In His Midst,
